This binder (1 of 2) contains a typed version of the same inventory in the first 4 Clapp coin binders. Both Clapp's original notes and edits by a second party have been typed, leading to a more readable text, but with no differentiation between them. Also included are Xeroxed copies of the coin photos, which are lacking from the first 4 binders, despite not being very clear.

Includes Clapp coins with serial numbers #1-388.

Serial numbers #300-388 in this binder were typed from a currently MIA original binder, falling between binders 2 and 3. For the rest of the missing serial #'s (389-469), see Vol. 2, the second binder in this series, (inventoryofclapp00clap_4).
